Augvape AIO (All-in-one Starter Kit)

The Augvape AIO (all-in-one) is a vape pen starter kit that has everything one needs to kick smoking for new vapers and it also makes a good travel vape that provides a versatile vape experience.

Augvape gave the AIO an interesting design and ergonomic shape, along with the smooth automobile style paint job, that feels pretty good in the hand. 

The unit is basically a pen style shape but has a thicker center and has flattened edges in a pseudo-pentagon pattern around the bottom half that allow the AIO to be comfortably held. It has a sturdy, almost hefty feel, without being heavy.

On the front is the diamond shaped firing button that has a hollow click when pressed with the usb charging port and LED indicator on the opposite side. The bright blue LED will light up when fired and will turn to red when the device needs to be recharged.

Built into the device is a 1500mAh battery and it fires at a steady 30W,  one can expect a pretty reasonable life span per charge.

At the top of the unit is tapered 510 drip tip, which feels pretty good for use with this style of vaping. 

The silver air flow control ring, which also doubles as the top cap, is unscrewed to pull out the 0.6ohm kanthal mesh subohm coil. 

This AIO has top air flow, with the air coming in at the top of the device and travels down the the inside of the coil and back up the chimney. The amount of smooth airflow that is achieved is a bit shocking given how restricted a space the air has to move in. 

With the air flow at wide open, the AIO is capable of a pleasant restricted lung hit and at almost closed, a comfortable mouth to lung draw.  Adjusting the ring is smooth but a bit on the loose side.

Thanks to the mesh coils and the airflow design, the AIO has a pretty good flavor profile. 

For this device and vaping style, about one-third open airflow gives plenty of vapor, flavor and a loose mouth to lung draw.

The kanthal mesh sub ohm coils, perform quite well. Lining the inner part of coil is a very thick layer of cotton which lines up with the narrow chimney. At the bottom of the coil, just about the contact, are two circular juice wicking ports, which is the trade off for the top down airflow design. 

With the wicking ports being at the bottom, the cotton being thick and the juice having to travel so far to reach the top of the coil, it is best to use a vape juice that is a 70/30 VG/PG or thinner for best results. 

Filling the AIO is pretty standard, just unscrew the top cap and fill to the line. For the best results, hold the body of the device with the middle, ring and pinky fingers and the cap with the thumb and index finger when filling.

The black line on the view window is a max fill line meaning any juice over the line will be displaced when the coil is reinserted. 

Overall, the Augvape AIO is an affordable all-in-one vape pen starter kit that provides a surprisingly versatile vape experience with good flavor and vapor production. This AIO is perfect for new vapers, recent or ex-smokers and vapers looking for a suitable travel vape.
